Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Kvason LLC (“we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through this website. It does not describe our data products, which are governed by separate agreements with clients.

1. Information we collect

When you contact us or request access, we collect the details you provide, such as:

• your name and work email address;
• your organization (if you choose to share it); and
• the content of your enquiry.

Our hosting provider may process standard technical request data (such as IP address and user-agent) to deliver and secure the site. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not load third-party analytics on this site. Because we do no cross-site tracking, we do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. This site is intended for business users, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

2. How we use it

We use the information you submit solely to:

• respond to your enquiry and, if relevant, scope an engagement; and
• maintain security and integrity of the site.

3. Legal basis

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in receiving and evaluating business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)) and, where you contact us to explore an engagement, on steps taken at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). We do not rely on consent for this correspondence and do not use it for marketing without a separate opt-in. Where other privacy laws apply, we process this information on the equivalent lawful basis for business-to-business communications.

4. Sharing

We do not sell the personal information collected through this website. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the site and communications (for example, our hosting and email providers), under appropriate confidentiality obligations, and where required by law.

5. Retention

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and for our legitimate business records, then delete or anonymize it. Concretely, we retain enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months after our last exchange with you, unless a longer period is required to meet a legal or accounting obligation or to establish or defend a legal claim. Technical request logs held by our hosting provider are kept on their standard short rolling schedule and then discarded.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict our use of your personal information, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise them, contact access@kvason.com. If the EU or UK GDPR applies to you, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office). If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA give you rights to know, delete, and correct your information and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” — we do not sell or share the personal information collected through this website as those terms are defined, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.

7. International transfers

We are established in the United States, and information you send us is processed there and in any country where our hosting and email providers operate. When you submit information to us directly — for example, through a contact form — you are sending it to us in the United States on your own initiative. If we later make an onward transfer of personal information out of the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland that requires a transfer mechanism, we put an appropriate safeguard in place before doing so — such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or an applicable adequacy decision.

We may update this notice from time to time. The current version is always posted here, and we indicate any change by revising the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Where a change is material, we will make the update prominent on this page before it takes effect.
