Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 15 July 2026
This policy sets out how our website and, where referenced in a client agreement, our products may and may not be used. It reflects a principle we hold firmly: we provide intelligence about apps, publishers, and markets — not about individuals.
Where a publisher or developer is an individual, we treat their information as business-contact data at the organization or product level. If you derive any personal data from our information, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for using it in line with this policy.
1. Permitted use
Our information is intended for legitimate business purposes, such as:
- market, competitive, and category analysis;
- diligence, research, and risk assessment at the organization or product level;
- security and integrity work on assets you are authorized to protect.
2. Prohibited use
You may not use our website or products to:
- identify, profile, track, surveil, or target specific individuals, or attempt to re-identify individuals from any data;
- make decisions about a person’s eligibility for employment, credit, housing, insurance, or similar benefits;
- harass, defame, or facilitate harm to any person;
- break any applicable law, sanction, or the terms of any third party;
- gain unauthorized access to systems, or develop or deploy malware or exploits;
- redistribute or resell our information except as expressly permitted in writing;
- attempt to derive the source code or underlying structure of our products, or copy their functionality;
- use our products or website to build a competitive service or publish competitive benchmark tests; or
- collect or copy our data or content by automated means, or use it to train machine learning or AI models, without our explicit written permission.
3. Website conduct
Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to this site or its infrastructure. Do not access the site or collect its content by automated means without our permission; this does not restrict standard search-engine indexing or link-preview services acting in the ordinary course.
4. Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates this policy, and we cooperate with lawful requests. Product use is additionally governed by the applicable client agreement, which controls in the event of any conflict.
5. Reporting
Report suspected misuse to access@kvason.com.
